Join the Hub for a special Guest Expert Webinar featuring the Women’s Legal Education & Action Fund (LEAF). This session will explore the non-consensual distribution of intimate images (NCDII), including the legal protections available in Canada, the impacts of image-based sexual violence, and the importance of consent, privacy, and digital safety. Grounded in LEAF’s public legal education and gender equality work, this webinar will provide participants with practical information about navigating today’s digital landscape. Following the presentation, the HUB team will provide a demonstration of its newest module series, Safe Sexting and Navigating Digital Conversations. This overview will highlight how this series help youth build healthy and respectful digital relationships by exploring topics such as consent, personal boundaries, online communication, digital footprints, Canadian laws related to sexting, privacy, and strategies for responding to or preventing the non-consensual sharing of intimate images. Using a strengths-based and non-judgmental approach, the modules are designed to empower youth to make informed decisions, protect themselves and others online, and access support when needed.
